Defend the Poet! (Charles Bukowski)

To tell the truth I am kind of confused right now. I don't know exactly what to say or what to do to defend Mr. Bukowski. But I will surely try.....

The poem Dinosauria, We is quite the interesting poem indeed. Some might have found it disturbing, gross, and pesstimistic but I found it to be quite refreshing and perfectly realistic. It not only related to our reading material in class but in my opinion life. I strongly suspect that if we don't take these warnings of the direction of world is going more serious we will have no future. These signs have not just popped up either, they have been here and developed long ago before we were even thought of. Remember we estimated this poem to have been written maybe around the sixties?
It's true that maybe Mr. Bukowlski couldve been a tad bit delusional and maybe even a little off in some different ways but don't those people always tur nout to be the best writers. How can you efficiently write a piece of work about the sad and dreadful future of the world and your own world is all butterflies and flowers? So don't critize and make fun of Mr. Bukowski for having the ability in whatever state he was in to write Dinosauria,We because in actuality he was smarter than us all.....
When it all boils down, the truth is we are the ones that is going to ultimately kill ourselves, unintentional suicide. Our stubborn and one-sided attitudes on life a huge reason, something needs to be done and fast. As I love to say, "You can't have your cake and eat it too"...
